Avian influenza, commonly called bird flu, is highly contagious and pandemic zoonosis of global importance, primarily affecting birds other mammals, including humans. The present review intended to highlight a report on the prevalence avian influenza in humans different species Indonesia. The study based 27 scientific articles from 2004 May 2021 which determined mainly by following molecular, virological, serological tests: polymerase chain reaction (PCR), hemagglutination inhibition (HI), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), ®Rapid antigen detection test. A vast divergence was observed due diversity sensitivity specificity tests applied. varies spatial temporal factors, species, breed differences. An average maximum (25%)) found poultry (domestic commercial birds) as compared ducks (20.13%) (10.66%). documented (16.3%) Birds sold live markets showed geographical distribution. already published studies dissection illustrates that infects all types Indonesia. proper surveillance system, effective vaccination plan, segregation culling strategy regarding influenza-infected are desperately needed eradicate

A review of avian influenza in different bird species.
Only type A influenza viruses are known to cause natural infections in birds, but viruses of all 15 haemagglutinin and all nine neuraminidase influenza A subtypes in the majority of possible combinations have been isolated from avian species. Influenza A viruses infecting poultry can be divided into two distinct groups on the basis of their ability to cause disease. The very virulent viruses ca...
متن کاملPrevalence of Avian Influenza in Live Bird Markets, Bird Gardens, and Zoos in Iran in 2015: A Cross-sectional Study
Avian Influenza (AI) H9N2 is endemic in Iran; therefore, it is necessary to estimate the disease prevalence among birds in live bird markets (LBMs) and assess the risk spread across the country. Accordingly, this study aimed to estimate the prevalence of AI subtypes in LBMs, bird gardens, and zoos during October and November 2015 in Iran and investigate the associated risk factors. Data related...

Avian influenza viruses, especially highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses (HPAIV), affect a wide range of species, including humans and have thus become a major concern for veterinary medicine and public health. A HPAIV-H5N1 belonging to clade 2.2, originally from South East Asia, spread across Eurasia and reached Sweden in 2006. Currently the most commonly isolated HPAIV-H5N1 from wild bir...
